Philosophy

For most folks, their home is their biggest investment. Our primary goal is to protect your interest in that investment by thoroughly evaluating the title abstract/history of your property to evaluate the legal risk and economic ramifications regarding any matter, issue, and/or cloud that may affect the title to your home. We strive to work with our agents and strategic partners to streamline the closing process and minimize risk through careful/thoughtful underwriting, consistent procedures, and education.

History

Lighthouse Title Insurance is based in Greenville, South Carolina, and was founded in 2021 by three senior real estate transaction professionals. We are a young, agile team that has a sense of urgency and is dedicated to working with our partners to provide unique value-added title solutions and exceptional customer service. Lighthouse writes residential and commercial title insurance, and our goal is simple: provide tailored solutions to help your team's overall efficiency and do absolutely everything possible to help your business grow.

Chris Eassy

Vice President

Chris leads the team in general operations. He brings over 25 years of leadership experience in enterprise IT operations, focusing on general operations, security, vendor management, large-scale projects, M&A integrations, and financial budgeting. His technical background is crucial in leading Lighthouse's tech and growth strategy into the future.

Andy Wilson

Sr. Underwriter Counsel Southeast

Andy brings 20 years of experience in residential & commercial real estate matters, title issue resolution, and default servicing in the State of South Carolina. He looks forward to serving all our valued agents throughout the Southeast.

Barry Sloop

Sr. Underwriter Counsel

Barry Sloop has over 30 years of experience in the title insurance industry. He brings a wealth of knowledge to Lighthouse, as he has been underwriting counsel and claims counsel with several leading title insurance underwriters.
